Under the ‘Education Plus’ vision, the University commits to nurturing graduates who will become competent professionals in the educational sector and beyond.  At the forefront of international standards of best practice in teacher education, our full-time Bachelor of Education (Honours) programme (BEd) graduates are equipped with professional and subject knowledge relevant to their future roles as highly educated and cultured citizens of Hong Kong.  The University’s new complementary discipline degree programmes also provide students with enhanced learning and practical experiences which prepare them well for a wide range of career paths after graduation.

All Government-funded Undergraduate Programmes in Teacher Education and Complementary Disciplines

In 2016, 97.0% of our graduates with honour degrees successfully secured a job or pursued further studies.  Of those employed full-time, 78.0% engaged in the education field.  The average monthly salary was HK$22,565.
