Application Information
Other Experiences and Achievements in Competitions / Activities (OEA)
Introduction
In addition to the achievements in the HKDSE Examination, OEA is one of the aspects which the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions (the Institutions) will consider. The submission of OEA information is entirely optional.
To facilitate the Institutions in considering applicants' performances in addition to academic results, applicants are advised to submit their OEA information via their JUPAS accounts.
This information will serve as important additional reference during the admission selection and can also be used as a framework for discussions during selection interviews.
Applicants are advised to carefully select the awards / activities they want to highlight. Emphasis should be placed on quality experience rather than the quantity of participation.
The Institutions will assess each OEA item on its individual merit and will categorise it at their own discretion.
Submission of OEA Information
The deadline for submission of OEA information via the JUPAS account is 2 January 2026 (5:00 pm). Late submission / further amendment is NOT accepted.
Upon submission, applicants are also advised to log in to their JUPAS accounts to review that their OEA information has been successfully submitted and saved.
Applicants should retain copies of the successful submission page as evidence. In the event of any disputes or queries, the JUPAS Office will ONLY accept these retained pages as valid proof. No other forms of documentation are accepted.
OEA Information
The OEA information comprises 2 sections:
Applicants may submit up to 10 OEA items.
