Application Procedures
HKDSE Examination Results
Applicants with Past and / or Current HKDSE Examination Results
Applicants MUST use the same identity document (i.e. HKID card) number to register for both their JUPAS accounts and their HKDSE Examinations at the HKEAA. This ensures that ALL past and / or current HKDSE Examination results (including Aegrotat Certificates as applicable) can be obtained from the HKEAA by the JUPAS Office, the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions.
At the time of applications, applicants must authorise, via the JUPAS accounts at the "Declaration" page, the JUPAS Office, the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions to obtain, and the HKEAA to release, their relevant results in support of their applications. Therefore, applicants are not required to submit their HKDSE Examination results to the JUPAS Office.
Applicants are also required to confirm their HKDSE Examination years via their JUPAS accounts upon receiving a notification from the JUPAS Office to ensure that the JUPAS Office, the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions have obtained ALL their HKDSE Examination results from the HKEAA.
The 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions may consider the HKDSE Examination results obtained by the applicants in different sittings when assessing their eligibility for admission. Applicants should consult the general entrance requirements and individual programme requirements and the websites of the respective institutions for further information.
-
Applicants who are not using HKID card numbers to register for the current HKDSE Examination sitting MUST contact the HKEAA to update their registration entry.
Applicants who have used different identity documents (i.e. not HKID card numbers) to register for previous HKDSE Examination sittings must notify the JUPAS Office via their JUPAS accounts upon receiving the relevant notification from the JUPAS Office.
If the identity documents do not match, the JUPAS Office, the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions WILL NOT BE ABLE TO OBTAIN ALL the HKDSE Examination results (past and / or current) of the concerned applicants from the HKEAA. Consequently, these applications may be disadvantaged, as the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions would not be able to review all the results from applicants in their HKDSE Examination.
-
Applicants will be informed by the JUPAS Office via email#^ and SMS■^◊ once their years of HKDSE Examination results are available for confirmation in their JUPAS accounts.
The deadline for applicants to confirm their HKDSE Examination years via their JUPAS accounts is 18 June 2026 (5:00 pm).
Applicants who fail to confirm their HKDSE Examination years by 18 June 2026 (5:00 pm) will be considered by the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and / or the SSSDP institutions based on the HKDSE Examination results contained in their JUPAS accounts as at the deadline (i.e. 18 June 2026 (5:00 pm)).
Late confirmation / further amendment is NOT accepted.
# As email is one of the channels that the JUPAS Office, the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions will use to contact applicants, applicants must ensure that the setting of their personal email accounts will not filter out or place such correspondence in the trash / junk / spam folders.
^ Emails and SMS are delivered via third party network providers and therefore the JUPAS Office is not responsible for any delay, loss, transfer, amendment or damage arising from the transmission process via third party network providers.
Should there be any discrepancies between information contained in emails and SMS and applicants' JUPAS accounts, the information contained in the latter (i.e. the JUPAS accounts) shall prevail.
Applicants are strongly advised to log in to their JUPAS accounts to double-check the related information.
■ Since important messages and correspondence from the JUPAS Office, the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions will be sent via applicants' mobile phone numbers and / or mailing addresses, applicants SHOULD NEVER share their mobile phone numbers or mailing addresses with other applicants in order to protect any information related to their JUPAS applications.
◊ SMS will be sent with the Registered SMS Sender ID of #JUPAS to a valid Hong Kong mobile phone number.
